For over 25 years, Thera-Business has supported companies and agencies with health economics and real-world evidence research. Dr. Miguel’s academic background underscores his extensive expertise. He has completed an MSc in Evidence-Based Health Care at the University of Oxford, earning a Distinction. He also holds a BSc in Health Sciences and dual degrees of MD and MBA from the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health and the Ateneo Graduate School of Business. Most recently, Dr. Miguel completed the Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) for drugs and the Regulatory Compliance Certification (RCC) for medical device regulation from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society, highlighting his deep knowledge of regulatory standards for both pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

ISPOR 2025, the leading global conference for HEOR, brings together thought leaders, researchers, and decision-makers from across the healthcare landscape. This year’s theme, “Collaborating to Improve Healthcare Decision Making for All: Expanding HEOR Horizons,” reflects the growing impact of HEOR in shaping access, pricing, innovation, and health system sustainability.
