We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Mr. Sheldon Yu to the position of Senior Research Analyst at Thera-Business Consulting. Mr Yu’s appointment to this new role highlights his statistical and analytical expertise, his valued role on our team, and his dedication to Thera-Business, having been with us since 2019.

Throughout his time with Thera-Business, Mr. Yu has showcased his deep insights and skills through his work analyzing complex surveys and large datasets. Additionally, Mr. Yu’s contributions in developing advanced quantitative systems for survey monitoring have been at the cornerstone of his efforts.

In this new role, Mr. Yu will collaborate closely with our team of expert statisticians and methodologists, focusing on devising innovative analytical solutions for our clients. Working alongside the Vice-President and Chief Technical Officer, Mr. Yu will conduct advanced statistical analyses, collaborate on study protocols, prepare reports and manuscripts, and manage multiple projects.

Mr. Yu holds an M.Sc. in Statistics from Carleton University and a BSc in Statistics and Economics. His previous experience includes working as a research assistant focused on the associations between air pollution and cognitive impairment, as a data analyst at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute analyzing diagnostic scanning methodologies, and at Health Canada, performing statistical analyses for chemical substance risk assessments.
