Thera-Business is pleased to welcome Ms. Liu Zhou, MSc, to our team as a Health Research Analyst.

Liu brings a strong academic and technical background in statistics and health research. She holds a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick. She has also successfully completed four Society of Actuaries examinations: FM, P, SRM, and FAM.

At Thera-Business, Liu supports health research and evidence generation through analytic planning, statistical analysis, data validation, and the preparation of clear, well-organized research reports. Her expertise in quantitative methods and data interpretation contributes to the delivery of rigorous, data-driven research and regulatory projects.

Liu’s graduate research focused on health-related statistical analysis, including meta-analyses examining mindfulness-based interventions for anxiety and depression, as well as modeling public health indicators such as maternal mortality, life expectancy, and fertility rates. These experiences strengthened her ability to select appropriate analytic methods, interpret complex findings, and communicate results effectively to diverse audiences.

Before joining Thera-Business, Liu worked as an actuarial analyst, where she gained extensive experience analyzing complex datasets and producing accurate, decision-relevant outputs. She also brings advanced technical expertise in R, SQL, VBA, and AXIS, supporting large-scale data analysis, modelling, and validation.
